Role & responsibilities

- Floor & Sales Operations: Oversee daily store operations across all departments to drive sales targets, footfall conversion, and ATV.
- Team Leadership: Lead, roster, and mentor floor supervisors, sales staff, and cashiers while conducting daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Coordinate stock replenishment, maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct periodic audits, and minimize shrinkage/wastage.
- Merchandising & Standards: Maintain high standards for visual merchandising, shelf display, store hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Customer Service: Handle customer queries and grievances promptly to ensure high service quality and repeat visits.
- Compliance & Cash Control: Oversee daily cash reconciliation, billing compliance, and enforce company SOPs and store security protocols.





Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 3 to 9+ years in retail store management (preferably in large-format departmental stores, hypermarkets, or textile retail).
- Retail KPIs: Strong grasp of key metrics including Sales per Sq. Ft., Footfall Conversion, Average Ticket Value, and Inventory Turnover.
- Skills: Excellent team leadership, loss prevention knowledge, floor management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Languages: Fluent in Tamil (Mandatory); working knowledge of English.
- Availability: Adaptable to work retail hours, including weekends, peak festival seasons, and public holidays.
