- Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each special child & effectively implement it with the help of the Shadow teacher & class teacher
- Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Build up a healthy bond with the special children.
- Parents of the special child should be informed about IEP
- Ensure that the remedial sessions are being conducted as planned.
- Design worksheets & other remedial support material whenever necessary.
- Ensure that the required classroom, environmental & assessment modifications are made as per the capability of every individual Special child
- Ensure that child specific support is provided to the class teacher, subject teachers & shadow teacher ( students aid)
- Monthly feedback should be provided to the parents about the childs progress
- Meetings should be conducted between the special educator, counsellor, class teacher, coordinator and special teacher on a regular basis for children diagnosed with special needs.




- Ensure that the social goals, academic goals & goals for specific behavior, for all children for the term have been achieved
- Maintain the required documentations necessary for each child
- Actively involve in the admission procedure of any special child & provide transparency about the resources that the school can provide.
- Play an active role in absence of the counsellor

Qualification: Diploma in Special Education

Experience: Minimum 1 year as Special Educator

Proficiency in Microsoft excel and word, Fluency in English
