Role Overview

This role provides strategic and operational support across multiple RCM departments by owning data integrity, MIS reporting, analytics, automation, and performance governance. The role ensures leadership has accurate, timely, and actionable insights across coding, quality, and billing. The position works closely with department heads, operations teams, client services, and IT to design scalable reporting structures, improve data accuracy, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic MIS Analytics Leadership

Act as the central MIS and analytics point of contact across Coding, QA/Data Quality, Billing and Consulting teams

Partner with leadership to define KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and performance frameworks aligned to business and client goals

Translate complex operational data into executive-ready insights for CEO, CFO, Directors, and Client Leadership

Support short-term and long-term strategic initiatives using trend analysis, forecasting, and performance benchmarking

Drive data-led decision making across domestic and offshore teams

- Data Governance, Accuracy Compliance

Ensure end-to-end data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across source systems (e.g., Guru, billing tools, QA platforms)

Identify and resolve data mismatches between operational systems, client reports, productivity tools, and QA outputs

Define and enforce data definitions, SOPs, validation rules, and audit checks for all MIS reports

Partner with QA and Compliance teams to track accuracy trends, error drivers, and corrective action effectiveness

- Operational Reporting Dashboards

Design, automate, and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports for:

Coding productivity accuracy

QA / audit outcomes (concurrent retrospective)

Billing performance and denials

Build leadership dashboards highlighting:

Productivity vs benchmarks

Accuracy and quality trends

Client-wise performance





Risk indicators and early-warning signals

Reduce manual effort through Excel automation, VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, and standardized templates

- Performance Monitoring Insights

Track individual, team, and client-level performance across departments

Conduct trend analysis, WoW/MoM comparisons, variance analysis, and root-cause analysis

Identify process gaps, capacity constraints, and improvement opportunities

Support monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with insights, commentary, and visual analytics

- Client Leadership Support

Support client-facing teams with accurate MIS inputs for:

Service reviews

Escalation management

SLA tracking

Contractual reporting

Prepare leadership summaries, presentations, and talking points using data-backed narratives

Respond quickly to ad-hoc data requests from leadership with high confidence and clarity

- System, Tool Automation Enablement

Work closely with IT and product teams on:

Guru Auditor reporting logic

New system migrations (e.g., Guru 2.0)

Data model changes and integrations

Lead UAT validation for reports and dashboards

Propose and implement automation to reduce dependency on manual FTE-heavy processes

- Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with:

Coding, QA and Billing teams for operational alignment

Client Services for reporting and escalation support

Sales and Consulting teams for data inputs during proposals and transitions

Act as a bridge between operations, technology, and leadership

Required Skills Qualifications

- Robust experience in MIS reporting, analytics, and data management within healthcare or revenue cycle operations
- Hands-on exposure to Coding, QA, Billing or Audit workflows (direct or indirect)
- Proven experience supporting leadership with decision-critical data
