About the Role '

Join our Cloud Engineering team supporting Milwaukee Tool, a global leader in innovation, quality, and industry-leading solutions. As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise Oracle Cloud solutions with a strong focus on automation, operational excellence, security, and reliability. Working closely with cloud, security, and application teams, you'll help build scalable, resilient cloud platforms that support Milwaukee Tool's global Oracle Fusion ecosystem and digital transformation initiatives.

Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore (Candidates currently residing in either location are encouraged to apply.)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
- Build and maintain highly available, scalable Oracle database environments, including Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle RAC, Exadata, and Database Cloud Service (DBCS).
- Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) solutions for mission-critical Oracle workloads.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, cloud deployments, and database automation.
- Configure and troubleshoot OCI networking components, including VCNs, subnets, routing, VPNs, load balancers, and security lists.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and least-privilege access.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle database performance.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Security, DevOps, and Software Engineering teams to establish cloud standards, governance, and operational best practices.
- Develop solution architectures, technical blueprints, effort estimates, and implementation plans based on business requirements.
- Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder, and Oracle Fusion environments from an infrastructure perspective.




- Create and maintain technical documentation, automation workflows, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the ongoing development of engineering best practices.
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Solid Oracle Database Administration experience, including:
- Oracle Autonomous Database
- Oracle RAC
- Exadata
- Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS)

- Proven experience implementing highly available, resilient cloud infrastructure and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including multi-region architectures.
- Strong experience designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Experience implementing automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and cloud deployments.
- Strong experience troubleshooting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle database performance issues.
- Experience supporting Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Visual Builder environments.

Technical & Professional Skills

- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking, including VCNs, subnets, routing, VPNs, security lists, and load balancing.
- Experience implementing IAM policies,



role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and Oracle Cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, cloud governance, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Experience with Oracle PaaS services, including:
- Oracle Java Cloud Service (JCS)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (ICS/OIC)
- iPaaS
- Oracle Process Cloud
- Oracle Mobile Cloud
- Oracle Document Cloud
- Oracle Messaging Cloud

- Strong understanding of Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), cloud UI frameworks, and SaaS application architecture.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms within Oracle SaaS ERP environments.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as OCI Monitoring, Datadog, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in hybrid or multi-cloud environments is an advantage.
- Experience working with SOA Suite, REST/SOAP web services, XML, and JSON.
- Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle SaaS technologies.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications are highly desirable, including:

- OCI Architect Professional
- OCI Database Cloud Certification
- Other Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications
