We are seeking an experienced Income Tax Manager to manage direct tax compliance, tax planning, assessments, appeals, and advisory services for individuals, partnership firms, LLPs, companies, and trusts. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of the Income Tax Act, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage client assignments while ensuring timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for Individuals, Firms, LLPs, Companies, Trusts and other entities.
- Review and finalization of tax computations.
- Handling Income Tax Notices, Scrutiny Assessments and departmental communications.
- Representing clients before Income Tax Authorities.
- Preparation of replies for notices under various sections of the Income Tax Act.
- Tax planning and advisory for businesses and individual clients.
- Preparation and review of Advance Tax calculations.
- TDS compliance, reconciliation and related advisory.
- Tax Audit support and coordination.
- Assisting clients during assessments,
appeals and litigation matters.
- Working knowledge of faceless assessment proceedings.
- Monitoring statutory deadlines and ensuring timely compliance.
- Coordinating with internal teams for accounting, audit and taxation matters.
- Client communication and relationship management.
- Research on amendments, circulars, notifications and recent judicial pronouncements.
- Assisting partners in handling complex taxation assignments.
