- Design develop, and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform manual testing.
- Understand and test against e-commerce business flows such as cart management, checkout, payments, and order tracking.
- Conduct database validations by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity and backend accuracy.
- Utilize Linux commands to perform log analysis, server verification, and test setting setup.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar (Optional)
- Test mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
- Participate in defect triage meetings, track bugs,
and assist in root cause analysis.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Proven experience in Web-based application testing.
- Solid understanding of E-commerce domain workflows.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with database testing must be proficient in writing SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of Linux commands for QA-related tasks (logs, services, files).
- Familiarity with any test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
