We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Supplier Quality & Development (Casting Commodity) to strengthen our Supplier Quality team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of casting manufacturing processes, supplier quality management, current supplier development, and process validation for critical casting components.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct supplier evaluation and re-evaluation audits.
- Develop and approve new suppliers through NSIA/FAI and qualification processes.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review and approve supplier Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and Quality Plans.
- Support prototype, sample, and initial production approvals.
- Investigate supplier quality issues and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure product and process excellence.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure supplier compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.

- Strong knowledge of Casting Processes including:
- Sand Casting
- Gravity Casting
- Pressure Die Casting
- Investment Casting
- Experience in casting tool and die development.
- Knowledge of heat treatment and post-casting finishing processes.
- Experience in inspection of casting components.
- Hands-on exposure to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
- X-Ray
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Magnetic Particle Inspection
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.;
- Experience with inspection equipment such as:
- CMM
- Vernier Calipers
- Micrometers
- Hardness & Roughness Testing Instruments
- Expertise in quality tools including:
- 8D
- 5 Why Analysis
- Fishbone Diagram
- Strong analytical, communication, and supplier management skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in:

- Supplier Quality Engineering
- Supplier Development
- Casting Commodity
- Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Power Equipment, Foundry, or Manufacturing Industries

Experience: 6+ Years

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy Engineering
