Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Telecom Tower Maintenance Engineer with a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom tower maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining telecom tower infrastructure, power systems, and network equipment to ensure maximum uptime and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom tower sites.
- Ensure maximum site uptime by responding promptly to faults and breakdowns.
- Maintain and troubleshoot BTS equipment, microwave links, transmission equipment, and associated telecom infrastructure.
- Maintain power systems, including DG sets, SMPS, rectifiers, UPS, battery banks, and electrical panels.
- Monitor the health of telecom tower equipment through alarms and site monitoring systems.
- Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and network operations teams to resolve site issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of tower infrastructure, earthing systems, aviation lights, fencing, shelters, and electrical installations.
- Maintain site documentation, maintenance logs, and service reports.




- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working at telecom tower sites.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate material requirements.
- Support emergency maintenance activities to restore network services within SLA timelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of telecom tower maintenance and field operations.
- Hands-on experience with BTS, microwave, transmission, and power equipment.
- Knowledge of DG sets, battery banks, SMPS, rectifiers, UPS, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot telecom and electrical faults independently.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance and fault management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and maintenance reporting.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with telecom infrastructure companies or telecom operators.
- Familiarity with tower maintenance standards, electrical safety practices, and SLA/KPI management.
- Experience in handling multiple telecom sites and coordinating field maintenance teams.
