Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PowerShell + ETL Developer with solid expertise in PowerShell automation, SQL Server, ETL processes, and SSRS reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing automation frameworks, integrating data from distributed database environments, and developing insightful dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

PowerShell Automation

- Design and develop PowerShell automation frameworks to execute scripts and queries across multiple database instances.
- Implement secure and scalable methods for remote PowerShell execution across environments.
- Automate data collection from distributed database servers, including performance metrics, configurations, and health checks.
- Build robust logging, error handling, and retry mechanisms for automation processes.

SQL & Data Integration

- Store, manage, and transform collected data using SQL Server.
- Develop optimized T-SQL queries, joins, CTEs, and stored procedures.
- Design database schemas to support reporting and historical data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.

SSRS Reporting & Dashboard Development

- Design and develop SSRS dashboards and reports (RDL).
- Create interactive reports with drill-down capabilities.
- Optimize report performance and ensure timely data refresh.




- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

System Monitoring & Performance

- Build automation to monitor database health, usage, and performance trends.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot data collection and reporting issues proactively.

Security & Governance

- Implement secure credential management using encrypted credentials or vault solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for remote execution and data access.
- Manage access control for scripts, reports, and database objects.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting (functions, modules, automation).
- Expertise in PowerShell Remoting (WinRM), WMI, and CIM queries.
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration.
- Strong experience in SSRS report and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of task scheduling, automation frameworks, logging, and error handling.
- Understanding of data validation, consistency, and performance tuning.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
