Job Responsibilities

- Teach English Language and Literature to students in Grades VIX following the Cambridge Lower Secondary and Checkpoint framework.
- Design and deliver interactive, inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources aligned with Cambridge learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom workplace.
- Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Support students in projects, presentations, public speaking, debates, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development programmes,



and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge, IB, or other international curriculum school (Cambridge experience preferred).
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment practices and learner-centred teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
