We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Automation QA Lead with deep expertise in API Testing, Automation Framework Development, and AI-driven Test Automation. This strategic leadership role requires a hands-on professional who can architect scalable automation solutions, drive quality engineering initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery across complex service-oriented and microservices-based architectures.

Role & responsibilities

Automation Framework Development & Strategy

- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable, reusable, and high-performance automation frameworks for API and service testing using RestAssured, Postman, and SoapUI.
- Define and implement enterprise-level automation strategies aligned with quality engineering best practices.
- Ensure framework reliability, scalability, maintainability, and seamless integration with existing development ecosystems.
- Drive automation adoption and standardization across projects and teams.

Preferred candidate profile





- 8+ years of hands-on experience in API test automation and Quality Engineering.
- Strong expertise in:
- RestAssured
- Postman
- SoapUI

- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade API automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, Web Services, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Swagger/OpenAPI
- RAML
- WSDL
- JSON
- XML

- Experience integrating automation frameworks with:

- Jenkins
- Git
- CI/CD Pipelines
- DevOps Practices

- Solid programming and scripting skills in Java and automation design patterns.
- Experience in defect management and quality reporting tools.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing custom automation utilities, frameworks, or testing accelerators.
- Exposure to AI-powered quality engineering solutions and intelligent automation tools.
- Experience with cloud-based environments and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of performance testing and service virtualization tools.
- Industry certifications in QA Automation, Agile, DevOps, or Cloud technologies.
