Position Description
We are looking for an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Developer with a strong foundation in Java to join our team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of IAM concepts, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and Java-based application development. You will work closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders to implement and support secure identity and access management solutions.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Java.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), and user provisioning solutions.
- Develop and maintain Java-based integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to implement IAM solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, including access, authentication, and provisioning problems.
- Support the development and maintenance of REST APIs and Java services required for IAM integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and IAM best practices.
- Contribute to automation initiatives for IAM processes and support CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Stay up to date with IAM technologies, Java frameworks, and industry security standards.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Java (Core Java, Collections, Exception Handling, OOP concepts).
- Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, or LDAP.
- Experience developing or integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Git version control.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
