Business Analyst – Client Engagement Strategic Growth & Deployment

Job Summary

Business Analyst – Strategic Growth & Development will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency and driving datainformed decision making within Client Engagement for the Employee Perks business. This role focuses on designing and building automated tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint to reduce and/or replace manual processes and provide clear visibility into inforce growth, retention, persistency, and related performance metrics.

The ideal candidate is a handson problem solver who can translate business needs into scalable analytical tools, streamline recurring workflows, and communicate insights clearly to business and leadership audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that measure and monitor inforce business performance, including growth, retention, persistency, and related employee advantages metrics.
- Develop standardized, repeatable reporting that replaces manual spreadsheets and adhoc analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across reporting outputs.
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and performance indicators that align to business goals.

Automation & Process Improvement

- Identify manual, timeintensive processes and design automated solutions using Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Build and maintain SharePointbased tools (lists, trackers, document libraries, and workflows) to support business processes and reporting needs.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to simplify workflows and improve scalability.

Business Partnership





- Collaborate closely with Client Engagement partners to understand business questions and data needs.
- Translate complex data and trends into clear, executiveready presentations using PowerPoint.
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner, providing insight into drivers of growth, retention, and portfolio health.

Data Governance & Documentation

- Document data sources, assumptions, definitions, and logic used in dashboards and tools.
- Support data governance best practices by promoting consistent metric definitions and reporting standards.
- Maintain clear user documentation and training materials for tools and dashboards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Analytics, or Reporting role.
- Strong handson experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design).
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, Power Query, data validation, automation).
- Experience building or maintaining SharePointbased tools or trackers.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly through PowerPoint presentations tailored to leadership and business audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problemsolving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting Insurance or Financial Services businesses.
- Experience measuring inforce performance, growth, retention, or persistency metrics.
- Familiarity with data integration concepts and working across multiple data sources.
- Comfort working in a fastpaced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders.
