Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Team Lead Accounts Receivable (AR) to lead a team responsible for AR follow-up, denial management, and collections for US Healthcare providers. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent payer knowledge, and a solid understanding of AR performance metrics to drive operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- - Lead and manage a team of AR Analysts/Callers handling physician and hospital accounts.
- Monitor daily productivity, quality, and turnaround time to ensure SLA adherence.
- Review aging reports and prioritize high-value and aged accounts for follow-up.
- Handle complex denial scenarios and provide guidance on appeals and claim resolution.
- Conduct regular team huddles, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Analyze team performance metrics and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Billing, Coding, Eligibility, and Client Management teams to resolve claim issues.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of account activity in the billing system.
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to improve collections and reduce AR aging.
- Support client meetings by providing operational updates, RCA, and action plans.
- Train and mentor new team members and ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

- - Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- 6 8+ years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
- Minimum 1 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or in a people management role.
- Solid experience in AR Follow-up, Denial Management, Appeals, and Insurance Collections.
- Excellent knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance payers.




- Experience working with physician billing and multi-specialty practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
