Hiring: Intermediate Data Engineer (SQL Server/MSBI)

We are looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSMS. This role requires candidates who have worked extensively on SQL development, ETL pipelines, production support, and performance optimization. Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as the role involves regular interaction with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSMS.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, CTEs, Joins, and Query Optimization.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting ETL pipelines using SSIS.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, indexing, execution plans, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and troubleshooting.
- Positive hands-on experience with Python for data processing, automation, or ETL.
- Experience in production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Snowflake
- Apache Airflow
- AWS

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases and ETL solutions.
- Design, develop, and support SSIS packages for enterprise data integration.




- Optimize SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and ETL jobs for high performance.
- Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support deployments and ensure data quality across environments.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile (High Priority)

- Hands-on Python experience is mandatory.

- Experience in production support and troubleshooting is highly preferred.
- Team lead or people management experience is an added advantage.
- Candidates with Snowflake, Airflow, or AWS experience will be preferred.
