1. Senior Salesforce Developer / Salesforce Solutions Engineer (Flow, Integrations & Platform Engineering Focus) Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer/Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional Salesforce administration and requires a solid technical owner who can design, build, and optimize scalable solutions across automation, integrations, and platform architecture. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on Apex development, APIs (REST/SOAP), integrations, and advanced Salesforce Flows. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong problem-solving ability and can independently translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Automation & Platform Engineering • Design and build advanced Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, and asynchronous workflows • Optimize automation with governor limits, ensuring scalable data processing and platform best practices Manage and enhance: • Custom objects • Validation rules • Security and sharing models 2. Integration & API Development (Critical Focus Area) Design, develop, and maintain integrations using: • REST & SOAP APIs • Named Credentials & External Services • Build and manage JSON-based data exchange between Salesforce and external systems • Develop and support Apex Classes, Triggers, and SOQL queries • Work closely with internal/external systems for end-to-end data flow and reliability 3. Technical Problem Solving & Optimization Act as a tier-3 escalation point for:
• Integration failures • Flow errors • Performance issues • Analyze debug logs and system behavior to perform root-cause analysis • Continuously improve platform performance, stability, and scalability 4. Solution Design & Stakeholder Collaboration • Translate business requirements into: • Technical designs • Architecture decisions • Create and maintain: • BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) • Technical design diagrams/documentation • Communicate complex technical concepts in simple business language Required Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of Salesforce experience overall • 6+ years of hands-on experience in: o Apex development o API integrations (REST/SOAP) o Named Credentials o JSON-based integrations o Apex (Triggers, Classes, SOQL) o APIs (REST/SOAP) o JSON Parsing & payload management o Named Credentials & External Services o Advanced Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered & Screen Flows) Core Capabilities • Strong independent problem-solving ability • Ability to operate with minimal dependencies on large teams • Experience working in fast-paced or high-ownership environments • Proven ability to gather, design, and implement solutions end-to-end Documentation & Design Capability (Important) Ability to provide: • Examples of BRDs or solution design documentation • Process flows/architecture diagrams (non-confidential) Preferred Qualifications • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Highly Preferred) • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator • Salesforce Certified App Builder • Experience with: • Box/SendGrid or similar integrations • Data 360/Snowflake • Salesforce DevOps/CI-CD tools
