Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve wedding and social event revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new business from wedding planners, event management companies, corporates, travel partners, and direct clients.
- Generate qualified enquiries and convert them into confirmed business.
- Promote Ramoji Film City as a holistic destination for destination weddings, receptions, pre-wedding functions, social celebrations, and private events.
- Maximize revenue through effective pricing, packaging, and negotiation strategies.
- Develop annual and quarterly business plans to expand market share.

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, event planners, destination wedding consultants, travel agents, influencers, and hospitality partners.
- Develop long-term partnerships with key industry stakeholders to generate repeat business.
- Represent Ramoji Film City at industry forums, networking events, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients while continuously expanding the customer base.

Market Development

- Monitor wedding sourcing platforms and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Track industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Identify opportunities through wedding associations, online portals, bloggers, influencers, and industry networks.
- Recommend creative sales initiatives to enhance market penetration.

Sales Operations

- Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries within the defined response timelines.
- Prepare customized proposals, presentations, quotations, cost estimates, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts.
- Coordinate with Finance for deposits, payment schedules, invoicing, and commercial documentation.




- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM records, and customer databases.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

- Collaborate with the Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Publicity teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing collateral.
- Participate in wedding expos, destination wedding showcases, trade fairs, roadshows, and promotional events.
- Support digital campaigns aimed at generating qualified leads and enhancing brand visibility.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Operations, Hospitality, Banquets, Events, Production, Security, Finance, and Guest Relations teams to ensure successful execution of events.
- Coordinate internal resources to deliver seamless customer experiences from enquiry to event completion.
- Ensure all client commitments are fulfilled within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Monitor sales performance against budgets and targets.
- Maintain updated customer databases and business intelligence reports.
- Present market insights, sales forecasts, and business development updates to the management.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Hospitality, or Business Administration.

- 18-25 years of experience in wedding, social event, hospitality, or event sales.
- Proven track record in business development and revenue generation.
- Strong network with wedding planners, event management companies, travel partners, and key industry stakeholders.
- Experience in destination wedding and luxury hospitality sales.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and client-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development.
- Candidates from luxury hotels, destination wedding venues, event management companies, convention centres, or tourism destinations will be preferred.
