Job Role & Responsibilities: -
As a Network Engineer, you will be a core member of the ITN team that provides network solutions to our internal & external clients.

You will have broad exposure to a wide spectrum of both network and system technologies. You will assist in the design, implementation and support of various IT solutions to maintain ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 compliance at all times.

Create processes and procedures around system security administration in a mixed hardware and software workplace in accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization, and security best practices.

Perform appropriate, periodic/scheduled security reviews and audits; Produce executive management summary with detailed actionable steps for IT Networks and Operations and Application teams to follow on

Performing Administration, Configuration, Monitoring and Maintenance of Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Wireless Routers & Switches, Routing protocols RIP V1/V2, IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, & Switch configuration as VLAN, STP, ACL, NAT.

Configuration & Maintenance of VPN Tunnels (SSL-VPN & IPSec.)

Traffic Analysis, BW Monitoring and Management using various tools ( Netflow Analyzer, Cacti, DU Meter, Wire-shark, Iperf) & protocols (Sflow, Netflow).





Collate security incident and event data to produce a monthly exception and management reports.

Uphold security standards and operating procedures for all production systems and act as a technical resource to the rest of the ITG organization.

Assist as necessary in ensuring a 99.99% availability of all network and systems components.

Participate in disaster recovery efforts to protect the data assets of the corporation.

Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade network infrastructures

Maintenance of Internet Lease-Lines & Broad-Band Internet Links

Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Any UG / PG within Computer Science

Minimum of 4 - 6 Years of experience within IT and Network domain

Configuration, Monitoring and Maintenance of Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Wireless Routers & Switches, Routing protocols RIP V1/V2, IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, & Switch configuration as VLAN, STP, ACL, NAT,Traffic Analysis, BW Monitoring and Management using various tools ( Netflow Analyzer, Cacti, DU Meter, Wire-shark, Iperf) & protocols (Sflow, Netflow).
