Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer with a robust background in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Ab Initio tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System).
- Develop complex graphs for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Perform data analysis, mapping, and transformation across multiple systems.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Optimize and tune Ab Initio jobs for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects,



and stakeholders for requirement gathering.
- Maintain proper documentation of ETL processes and workflows.
- Support deployment and release activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
- Expertise in GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and Co>Operating System.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, Data Modeling, DW/BI).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control tools.

Good to Have:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of Big Data tools (Hadoop/Spark).
- Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Domain experience in Banking/Financial Services.
