- Manage and maintain Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Kafka broker and replication issues
- Perform Kafka upgrades and cluster maintenance using automation tools
- Integrate Kafka with big data technologies such as Spark and Hive
- Optimize cluster performance and support production environments
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience managing Apache Kafka clusters
- Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and best practices
- Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting; Python knowledge is a plus
- Experience with Kafka monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrades
