Shift: EST Zone - (630pm IST to 330AM IST)

Summary

- Responsible for providing support to sales bid teams through financial model development, pricing analysis and risk assessment
- Maintain independence in all financial matters to ensure business leaders possess complete view of all relevant facts and assumptions underlying opportunity
- Ability to engage with cross functional teams including solutioning, sales, legal, HR and finance
- Team members are financial point of contact for opportunities and will work overlapping shift with US based teams

Essential Functions

- Develop proforma financial model based on client/ technical solution for professional / managed services, product and resale components
- Working knowledge of profit & loss statements, cash flow and balance sheets
- Requires understanding of key financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, payback, etc.
- Possess strong Excel financial modeling skills to support costing / pricing scenarios
- Ability to apply US GAAP accounting standards in financial modeling
- Analytical skills to support ad hoc analysis utilizing advanced Excel formulas, perform sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis
- Solid project management skills and ability to multi-task on multiple opportunities




- Working knowledge of standard terms and conditions (payment terms, early contract termination, liability exposure, service level exposure, benchmarking, etc.) related to services contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Solid phone skills including clear diction such that analyst can successfully add value with US based teams
- Ability to communicate observations, conclusions, gaps, tasks, outstanding items
- Ability to communicate with CFO, and other financial leaders

- Establish and maintain financial model and associated policies to ensure consistent application across all deals
- As team grows, ability to mentor newer team members

Required Qualifications

- 7-10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in area of decision support
- This experience excludes transactional roles like Accounts payable/ receivable, general account support

- Prior IT costing / pricing experience
- Master of Commerce
- Strong Financial modeling skills
- Solid organization, project management skills
- String interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid business accumen

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

- Degrees in Finance and/or Chartered Accountants
