Job Description Production Executive (Ice Cream Plant)

Position: Production Executive – Ice Cream Plant

Department: Production

Location: Ice Cream Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities

- Execute daily production activities as per the production plan and achieve shift-wise targets.
- Supervise ice cream production processes including mix preparation, ageing, freezing, filling, hardening, and packing.
- Operate and monitor Cone, Cup, Stick, Candy, Family Pack, and Extrusion production lines.
- Ensure product quality in accordance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Utilities, and Warehouse teams for smooth plant operations.
- Monitor machine performance, minimize downtime, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure timely execution of CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), shift reports, and process documentation.
- Monitor raw material consumption and reduce wastage during production.
- Train, guide, and supervise machine operators and production helpers.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety (EHS) policies and company procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

Qualification

- B.Tech/B.E.



(Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical, Production, Electrical)
- B.Sc./M.Sc. (Dairy Science or Food Science)
- Diploma in Dairy Technology or relevant Engineering discipline (where applicable)

Experience

- 2–8 years of experience in an Ice Cream or Dairy Manufacturing Plant.
- Experience handling automated ice cream production lines is preferred.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of ice cream manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Cone, Cup, Stick, Candy, Family Pack, and Extrusion lines.
- Understanding of CIP systems, GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI requirements.
- Ability to lead production teams and manage shift operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA-controlled production systems is an added advantage.
