Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

- Robust hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL, or equivalent relational databases.
- Experience in database installation, configuration, backup, restore, and recovery.
- Strong understanding of High Availability (HA), Replication, and Disaster Recovery (DR).
- Monitor database health, availability, and performance to ensure high uptime.

- Window Functions
- Dynamic SQL

- Strong knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with indexing strategies and execution plan analysis.
- Understanding of transactions, locking, blocking, and concurrency.
- Knowledge of normalization and database design principles.




- Experience monitoring database performance and identifying bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, or other cloud-managed database platforms.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Experience with ETL tools and data migration.
- Exposure to reporting and analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for database automation.
- Experience in database capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Understanding of containerized database environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale, high-availability production systems.
