Position: Traffic Incharge

Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day vehicle placement for inbound and outbound transportation.
- Maintain regular contact with local truck and trailer brokers for immediate vehicle arrangement.
- Derive, negotiate, and finalize competitive transportation rates.
- Monitor route availability, vehicle positioning, and market rate fluctuations.
- Ensure timely dispatch and placement of vehicles as per operational requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters, brokers, drivers, and internal departments for smooth execution.
- Maintain discipline in trip planning, vehicle follow-up, and timely reporting.
- Support cost control by identifying suitable vehicles at the best available rates.

Preferred candidate profile





- Minimum 7 years in transportation operations, traffic handling, or vehicle placement.
- Good knowledge of local broker market for trucks and trailers.
- Robust ability to negotiate freight rates for both inbound and outbound loads.
- Practical knowledge of route planning, vehicle sourcing, and trip coordination.
- Experience in handling market vehicles, attached vehicles, and urgent placement requirements will be preferred.
