We are seeking a highly technical Senior Network Engineer to architect, optimize, and scale our ISP and NLD IP-MPLS network. Who need to drive our peering and caching strategies, manage upstream transit relationships, and implement advanced traffic engineering to guarantee high-performance, low latency, resilient, and cost-effective content delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- - Manage BGP routing policies, peering relationships and transit connectivity
- Design and implement network security controls ,best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory audit and organizational requirements
- Design and deploy edge caching and Content Delivery Network (CDN) nodes across our network.
- Collaborate with capacity planning and systems teams to scale caching storage and compute in high-density POPs.
- Support DDoS mitigation, Routing security and access control policies
- Design and execute peering strategies across global Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and Private Network Interconnects (PNIs).
- Establish BGP sessions, manage routing policies and optimize cache hit ratios..
- Analyse traffic matrices and cost-benefit metrics to shift traffic from expensive upstream transit to free/cost-effective peering
- Engineer traffic flows and deploy advanced routing techniques like BGP, MPLS, and Segment Routing.
- Continuously tune network paths to minimize latency and packet loss, ensuring the optimal Quality of Experience (QoE) for end users
- Develop and implement network automation solutions
