Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Automation Engineer with 7 to 10 years of overall experience and a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing automation frameworks, API testing, and both black-box and white-box testing. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team, engage with clients, and contribute to the development process.
Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
Conduct API, black box, and white box testing to verify software functionality.
Create and integrate CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment processes.
Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure effective test coverage.
Engage with clients to understand their requirements, pitch solutions, and provide ongoing support.
Develop and maintain test scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript, ensuring compatibility with various testing frameworks.
Understand and implement unit testing practices to ensure code quality.
Work with front-end frameworks like React and web server frameworks such as Java and Node.js to facilitate comprehensive testing.
Qualifications:
7 to 10 years of overall experience in software testing, with at least 5 to 6 years of experience in automation testing.
Strong expertise in creating automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
Proficient in API testing, black box, and white box testing techniques.
Solid experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and integration.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript or TypeScript development.
Understanding of unit testing concepts and frameworks.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React and web server frameworks such as Java and Node.js.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with popular automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing practices.
