Role & responsibilities
Devika Multispeciality Hospital & Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a full-time Consultant Radiologist for its advanced diagnostic centre at SR Nagar, Hyderabad.
The selected candidate will:
- Independently interpret and report MRI, CT, X-ray and other diagnostic imaging studies.
- Independently perform general ultrasound and colour Doppler examinations.
- Review imaging protocols and supervise technicians to maintain optimal image quality.
- Supervise contrast examinations, patient screening, contrast safety and emergency preparedness.
- Communicate urgent and critical imaging findings promptly to the referring clinician.
- Maintain accurate, timely and clinically relevant radiology reports.
- Undertake responsibility as the centres Radiological Safety Officer for CT and X-ray services, subject to formal AERB/eLORA designation and approval.
- Supervise radiation-safety practices, TLD monitoring, protective equipment, quality-assurance documentation, staff compliance and AERB inspection requirements.
- Be available for formal inclusion as the radiologist/sonologist under the centres PC-PNDT registration.
- Ensure strict PC-PNDT compliance, including proper documentation, Form F verification, declarations, registers, record preservation and inspection readiness.
- Ensure that no prenatal sex determination or disclosure is performed under any circumstances.
- Participate in clinical audits, discrepancy review and quality-improvement activities.
- Support reporting requirements across the Devika group during periods of lower on-site workload.
Preferred candidate profile
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis from a recognised institution.
- Valid medical registration and eligibility to practise in Telangana.
- Freshers and candidates with up to two years of post-qualification experience may apply.
- Sound competency in ultrasound and colour Doppler is essential.
- Basic competency in CT and MRI interpretation is required.
- Existing RSO experience or AERB/eLORA familiarity is preferred.
- Candidates without prior RSO designation must be eligible and willing to complete the required process and formally undertake RSO responsibility.
- Familiarity with PC-PNDT documentation and Form F compliance is preferred.
- Candidate must be willing and eligible to be formally included in the centres PC-PNDT registration.
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office position at SR Nagar, Hyderabad.
- Should demonstrate reporting accuracy, professional accountability and willingness to work within a structured quality-control system.
