Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP EWM Operations & Integration Support Specialist to provide hands-on monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support for a highly automated SAP EWM warehouse environment. This role focuses on production support, stabilization, troubleshooting, and optimization of SAP EWM operations integrated with SAP TM, SAP MM, SAP Ariba, and multiple warehouse automation systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience supporting live SAP EWM environments, warehouse automation integrations, and resolving business-critical operational issues.

Environment Overview

The SAP EWM landscape includes:

- SAP EWM integration with SAP TM, SAP MM, and SAP Ariba.
- Automated warehouse operations including:
- AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles)
- AS/RS and crane systems
- Pick-to-Light systems
- Dock management systems
- PLC and automation interfaces

- Real-time material movement driven by MRP schedules and JIT/JIS supplier signals.
- Integration with multiple third-party automation and control systems.

Preferred Industry Experience (Mandatory)

Candidates must have experience in Automobile or Manufacturing Industry, preferably with:

Automobile Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, BMW, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki etc.,

Key Responsibilities

SAP EWM Operations Support

- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP EWM in a 24x7 warehouse operations environment.
- Monitor warehouse execution processes, queues, and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Inbound and outbound processes
- Internal warehouse movements
- Wave management
- Resource management
- Yard and dock operations

- Analyze and resolve integration issues between:

- SAP EWM SAP TM
- SAP EWM SAP MM
- SAP EWM SAP Ariba
- SAP EWM Warehouse automation systems

- Identify whether issues are related to SAP, middleware, or automation systems.
- Coordinate with automation vendors, system integrators, and technical teams.

Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis

- Lead investigation of critical production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support system stabilization and continuous improvement activities.

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve SAP EWM stability and performance.
- Support optimization of:
- Queues
- Waves
- Resources
- Automation triggers

- Recommend improvements to reduce manual intervention and operational risks.





Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

- Act as a technical bridge between:
- IT teams
- Warehouse operations
- Automation vendors
- AMS partners
- System integrators

- Provide communication and support during high-priority incidents.

Testing & Documentation

- Support testing activities, UAT, and solution validation.
- Maintain SAP EWM configuration, process documentation, and user guides.
- Provide knowledge sharing and training to users and stakeholders.

Skills:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Timely delivery of SAP EWM enhancements and projects.
- Reduction in operational downtime and warehouse inefficiencies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- SAP EWM certification is preferred.
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or high-volume distribution environments is an advantage.
- Proven experience supporting highly automated warehouse environments.
- Strong troubleshooting experience in live production systems.
- Experience working with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle high-pressure operational incidents.
