Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Senior Specialist SAP TM & MM (Technical Product Owner) to join our SAP Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) and Material Management (MM) with hands-on expertise in Automobile and Manufacturing industries.

The role involves designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing SAP TM & MM solutions supporting transportation, procurement, inventory, warehouse, and manufacturing operations.

Preferred Industry Experience (Mandatory)

Candidates must have experience in Automobile or Manufacturing Industry, preferably with:

Automobile Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, BMW, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki etc.,

Key Responsibilities

SAP TM & MM Solution Design and Configuration

- Configure and maintain SAP TM functionalities including:
- Transportation planning
- Freight order management
- Carrier selection
- Freight settlement

- Configure and support SAP MM processes including:

- Procurement
- Purchase orders
- Inventory management
- Goods movements

- Design solutions aligned with business requirements and supply chain objectives.

Integration & Process Optimization

- Ensure seamless integration between:
- SAP TM
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP EWM
- SAP FI/CO

- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, finance, and manufacturing teams.
- Optimize transportation and material management processes for efficiency and cost reduction.

Product Ownership & Backlog Management

- Manage and prioritize SAP TM and MM product backlogs.
- Work with stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.




- Prioritize enhancements, improvements, and defect fixes based on business impact.
- Support Agile delivery processes and sprint activities.

Implementation & Project Delivery

- Lead SAP TM/MM rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements and create functional specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and business teams for successful delivery.
- Support configuration, customization, testing, and deployment activities.

Testing & Support

- Develop test plans and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate SAP TM/MM solutions against business requirements.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides.

Stakeholder Management & Training

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and roadmap.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for end users and stakeholders.
- Support adoption of SAP TM/MM solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- SAP Certified Application Associate Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA preferred.
- SAP MM certification is preferred.
- Robust experience with SAP S/4HANA supply chain solutions.
- Experience delivering SAP ERP implementations from requirement gathering through go-live.
- Solid understanding of logistics, transportation management, and procurement processes.
- Experience working with ABAP developers for custom developments and integrations.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
