We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US IT Accountant with strong expertise in Payroll processing and Invoice management to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, specifically in handling US payroll systems and managing vendor/client invoicing in an IT services workplace. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage financial records in compliance with US regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage US Payroll for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare, review, and manage invoices for IT services provided to US clients and ensure correct billing cycles.
- Reconcile payroll and invoice records, handle discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and data entry related to payroll and invoicing.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, tax filings, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance,
and Operations teams to resolve payroll and invoice-related queries.
- Generate and analyse periodic financial reports related to payroll and accounts receivable/payable.
- Stay updated with relevant US tax laws, labour laws, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an Accountant with a focus on US Payroll processing and Invoice management.
- In-depth knowledge of US Payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and compliance
