Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
- Build high-performance, secure, and resilient distributed systems.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions and architecture.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

- 8 - 14 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM tuning.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC,



Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing REST APIs and integrating external services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP principles, and system design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to reactive programming (WebFlux).
- Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or caching technologies.
- Experience in financial services/banking domain (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in Java, Cloud, or Kubernetes are a plus.
