Role & responsibilities

Fire & Safety Officer.

- Ensures building and equipment licenses and certifications are current
- Maintains property life safety systems (firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems).
- Plan for preventative action of all safety equipment, people, Machinery & Company property
- Maintaining Safety documents & Objective
- Maintain & issuing the Various work Permit System
- Organize Various Training programs on Safety
- Good technical knowledge and execution of EHS & System like safety audit, first aid, work permit system, safety committee meeting
- Responsible for Environment of health safety management
- Strong ability of developing workplace pollution, & health safety rules
- Good Knowledge and carry out Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) for site activities
- Conduct safety Induction program for all new entrants and continuous training programs for all employees working in the site
- Conduct Mock drills on Emergency situations
- Ensure safety communication arrangements through Displays, Safety Signs, In House Magazines, Safety Literature,



Annual Plant Safety Performance Report etc
- Comply with all legal & statutory compliance
- Participation in safety audits and implementation of corrective and preventive actions CAPA for points of safety audits
- Procurement and maintain personal protective equipment in the site
- Ensure fire risk of hazardous area in the site
- Train employees on emergency planning Report all incidents including near miss on in house online portal
- Ensure investigation of all incidents including near miss within specified time line
- Contractor, workers safety culture improvement
- Budget management for Safety dept Revenue and Capex Knowledge on Integrated Facility Management System IFM
- Walk around observation closure in stipulated timelines.
