Role & responsibilities

To lead and manage end-to-end bulk hiring for blue-collar workforce at the plant, ensuring timely availability of manpower while maintaining quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bulk Hiring Execution
- Drive high-volume hiring for shopfloor roles (operators, technicians, helpers, contract workforce, etc.)
- Plan and execute mass hiring drives, job fairs, and campus/ITI hiring initiatives
- Ensure closure of positions within defined TAT
- Sourcing Strategy
- Build strong sourcing channels including contractors, vendors, local networks, NGOs, and government bodies
- Develop pipeline through ITI institutes, skill development centers, and local communities
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage manpower agencies/contractors for consistent supply of workforce
- Negotiate commercials and ensure vendor performance tracking
- Collaborate closely with plant HR, operations, and line managers
- Screening & Selection
- Ensure efficient screening, trade testing, and selection processes
- Maintain quality of hires despite high volumes
- Data & Reporting
- Track daily/weekly hiring numbers, funnel conversion, and TAT
- Maintain dashboards on hiring progress, cost per hire, and attrition trends
- Compliance & Documentation




- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, labour laws, and documentation
- Coordinate for onboarding formalities (ID proof, PF/ESIC, etc.)
- Onboarding & Retention Support
- Ensure smooth onboarding and joining experience
- Work closely with HR Ops to track early attrition and improve retention strategies
- Employer Branding (Local Level)
- Build strong employer presence in local hiring markets
- Organize local engagement activities to attract workforce

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong experience in bulk / mass hiring (blue collar workforce)
- Deep understanding of plant/industrial hiring ecosystem
- Expertise in vendor management & contractor hiring
- Knowledge of labour laws, compliance (PF, ESIC, CLRA, etc.)
- Strong local network in and around Hyderabad / Telangana region
- Ability to handle high-pressure, high-volume hiring targets
- Data-driven mindset with robust reporting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills

- 810 years of experience in blue collar / bulk hiring
- Experience in manufacturing / plant setup / industrial environment
- MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant field preferred
