Production Planning & Scheduling:

- Develop and manage detailed production schedules for both modular and bespoke furniture lines.
- Convert customer orders and design approvals into actionable production plans.
- Balance workloads across machinery, manpower, and workstations to optimize output and avoid bottlenecks.
- Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly production forecasts in coordination with Sales, Design, and Operations teams

Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams

- Liaise with the design team to understand technical drawings, customization details, and materials required.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, hardware, and finishes.
- Work closely with the factory team to track job status and resolve any issues related to quality, capacity, or materials.
- Interface with project management and CRM teams for installation planning and delivery schedules.

Capacity & Resource Planning

- Monitor machine and manpower capacity utilization and initiate planning for resource scaling as needed.
- Plan shifts and manpower allocation based on project urgency, complexity, and timelines.
- Recommend investments in current tools, jigs, and machinery for better efficiency or complexity handling.

Material Requirement Planning (MRP)





- Drive the implementation of MRP systems to ensure optimum inventory levels.
- Track usage of panels, laminates, hardware, and finishes for both standard and customized orders.
- Reduce wastage through effective material forecasting and coordination.

Quality & Compliance Monitoring

- Align production planning with quality control requirements to avoid rework or rejection.
- Ensure production sequences adhere to quality SOPs for luxury furniture manufacturing.
- Monitor deviations and take corrective action in collaboration with QA/QC teams.

Process Optimization

- Analyse production data and identify areas for process improvements.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce lead times and enhance output consistency.
- Develop and standardize workflows for recurring custom furniture requests to reduce planning time.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain dashboards and reports on WIP (Work In Progress), production efficiency, and delivery status.
- Document standard timelines and benchmarks for various production types (modular kitchen, wardrobes, bespoke units, etc.).

Provide regular updates to senior management on production readiness and delays.
