Required:

- 5+ years of experience in software development, Dev SecOps, or a security engineering role with a development component
- Comfortable with at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or similar) and familiar with REST APIs and JSON
- Experience working with databases (SQL) reading, writing, and debugging queries
- Ability to work productively with AI coding assistants you know when to trust the output and when to push back
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills able to trace an issue from symptom to root cause
- Valuable written communication able to document what you build and explain it to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision

Preferred:

- Familiarity with the security tooling ecosystem EDR, SIEM/Data Analysis Platforms, Vulnerability Management platform,



Cloud Security Platform, Ticketing systems etc.
- Experience building or maintaining integrations between security platforms
- Basic understanding of vulnerability management concepts (CVEs, severity, remediation work flows)
- Exposure to Docker, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with React or a comparable frontend framework for internal tooling
