Assistant Project Engineer Job Description

The Assistant Project Engineer will be based in Hyderabad and will report to the Manager. The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience. They will be working on utility-scale solar PV projects located around the globe, from the development stage through construction support. The candidate should have a basic understanding of VB.Net, Excel Macros, and be well-versed in advanced Excel functions. They will collaborate with other design and structural engineers to propose the best possible project design.

Here is a glimpse of what you ll do

- Create AutoCAD layouts for Solar Power Plants using NX tracker design
- Perform Slope analysis
- Generating Slope Map with the site Contours using AutoCAD Civil-3D
- Prepare Bill of Material
- Use templates and guidelines to create layouts and drawings

Here is some of what you ll need (required)

- Through knowledge of AutoCAD 2D commands or any other equivalent CAD environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.




- Ability to prepare structural part drawings as per standards
- At least 2+ years of experience in CAD detailing in the construction industry. Experience in solar industry is preferred but not compulsory
- Good knowledge on drafting and detailing standards
- Very valuable communication skills

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

- BE/B Tech/BS degree in Civil / Mechanical with 2-3 years experience
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
- Working level knowledge of AutoCAD Civil-3D
- Basic knowledge on Autolisp, VB.net, Macros Well known on Excel
- Optional knowledge of PVSyst, L-Pile, Staad Pro
