Your Role

As a C++ Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust communication systems and industrial connectivity solutions. You will work on protocol stacks, device integrations, database connectivity components, and modern containerized deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ with a solid focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of industrial communication protocol stacks and device integration solutions.
- Analyze customer and system requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and support communication interfaces for industrial devices and embedded systems.
- Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial communication protocols to ensure seamless interoperability between devices and applications.
- Develop and maintain ODBC driver implementations and database connectivity components.
- Configure, integrate, and validate third-party devices using vendor instruction manuals and technical documentation.
- Perform protocol analysis, packet inspection, debugging, and issue resolution across various communication interfaces.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps,



and customer teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior engineers by sharing technical expertise and industry best practices.
- Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automation wherever applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Design and implement scalable, future-ready software architectures supporting evolving business requirements.
- Support containerized application deployment using Docker and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

Your Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ software development.
- Good working knowledge of C# is desirable.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with industrial communication protocols, including:
- DNP3
- SNMP
- IEC 61850
- Modbus

- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting communication and file transfer protocols, including:

- FTP
- FTPS
- SFTP
- TFTP
- HTTP
- ASCII
- YMODEM
- XMODEM

- Strong experience in ODBC driver implementation and database connectivity.
- Expertise in protocol debugging, packet analysis,



and troubleshooting communication issues using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network protocol analyzers.
- Ability to understand and configure devices using vendor-supplied instruction manuals and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing, deploying, and managing applications.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based deployment strategies.

Good to Have

- Experience with C# application development.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality best practices.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Exposure to Industrial Automation, SCADA systems, Power Systems, or Embedded Communication Software.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative engineering practices.
