Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scala Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience in Scala development, building high-performance backend applications, and working with distributed systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Scala.
- Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Work with Akka, Play Framework, Spark, or Cats/ZIO based applications.
- Develop high-performance and low-latency systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to define technical solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews, debugging,



and performance optimization.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and support team growth.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Scala programming.
- Experience with Java, Functional Programming, OOP concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of Akka / Play Framework / Spark.
- Experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
- Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
