Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Arista Network Engineer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise or data center networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Arista EOS, data center switching, routing protocols, and next-gen technologies such as VXLAN and EVPN. The role includes Level 3 support, configuration changes, network upgrades, documentation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Candidates with experience in network automation, solution testing, or pre-sales engineering will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and support Arista-based data center and enterprise network infrastructures
- Provide Level 3 troubleshooting and resolve complex Layer 2/3 issues involving BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, and MLAG
- Perform configuration changes, software upgrades, patching, and migrations on Arista EOS devices
- Monitor and optimize network performance using Arista Cloud Vision or equivalent tools
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)



and prepare detailed incident and performance reports
- Document network diagrams, change management activities, and operational runbooks
- Collaborate with architecture teams for solution design, testing, and scalability improvements
- (Optional/Role-based) Work with pre-sales teams to support customer requirements and POCs
- (Optional/Role-based) Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or Arista APIs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in data center environments
- Robust expertise in Arista EOS, Cloud Vision (CVP), and modern spine-leaf architectures
- In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, STP, MLAG, VXLAN, EVPN
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with packet captures, logs, and routing analysis
- Experience with network automation tools: Python, Ansible, REST APIs (preferred but not mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and telemetry tools
- Understanding of high-availability, redundancy, and scalable network designs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Certifications such as Arista ACE, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus
