Eclat is Hiring for IPDRG Trainer

Key Responsibilites:

- Curriculum & Module Creation: Design and continuously update foundational training modules, training binders, and study aids

specifically structured for individuals with no prior coding experience.

- Assessment Development: Create rigorous weekly quizzes, baseline exams, and final certification readiness mock tests to objectively measure fresher progress.
- Classroom Delivery: Lead daily, in-person training sessions for freshers and experienced coders in our dedicated corporate training facility.
- Grading & Reporting: Grade fresher assessments, maintain performance scorecards, and provide regular reports to leadership on batch readiness and certification pass-potential.
- Floor Support: Walk the production floor to provide immediate, side-by-side assistance and query resolution for newly transitioned coders.
- Root Cause Analysis: Partner with the Quality Assurance team in office to analyze audit failures and deliver targeted, one-on-one refresher training.
- Compliance Tracking:



Monitor annual ICD-10-CM and CMS IPPS updates to update training materials proactively.
- Flexibility: Willing to travel and stay at different locations of Eclat offices as per business requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of total experience with a proven track record in Inpatient coding, auditing, or a training role.
- Certifications: Active and valid certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CCS, CIC, or CPC) is mandatory.
- Domain Knowledge: Expert-level proficiency in IP-DRG abstracting, DRG-validation, and reviewing patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Logistics: Willingness to work entirely from our physical office location
