Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced OCI Administrator / Cloud Engineer responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments. The role involves day-to-day administration of OCI services, infrastructure provisioning, network configuration, security governance, IAM management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments across compute, storage, networking, database-related infrastructure, and security services.
- Provision, configure, and maintain OCI resources such as Compute Instances, Block Volumes, Object Storage, File Storage, Load Balancers, DRGs, VCNs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Lists, and NSGs.
- Design, configure, and manage OCI networking components including VCN, Subnets, LPG, DRG, NAT Gateway, Service Gateway, Internet Gateway, FastConnect, VPN, and routing policies.
- Implement and manage OCI security controls including Security Lists, Network Security Groups, Cloud Guard, Vulnerability Scanning, Bastion, Web Application Firewall, and Logging/Monitoring policies.
- Manage OCI IAM, including users, groups, dynamic groups, compartments, policies, federation, identity domains, and access control governance.
- Ensure proper segregation of access using least privilege principles and role-based access control.
- Monitor OCI services using OCI Monitoring, Logging, Alarms, Events, Notifications, and Service Connector Hub.
- Perform troubleshooting for infrastructure, network connectivity, access, performance, and service availability issues.
- Support backup, recovery, patching, scaling, and lifecycle management activities for OCI resources.
- Work on cost optimization, capacity planning, tagging governance, and resource utilization analysis.




- Support implementation and maintenance of secure cloud landing zones and compartment structures.
- Collaborate with application, database, security, and network teams for deployments, issue resolution, and environment readiness.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in incident, change, problem, and release management processes.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in OCI administration and cloud operations.
- Good understanding of OCI core services including Compute, Storage, Load Balancer, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, Logging, and Security services.
- Strong knowledge of OCI networking concepts such as VCN design, subnetting, routing, gateways, DRG, VPN, FastConnect, NSG, and Security Lists.
- Hands-on experience in managing OCI IAM policies, compartments, groups, dynamic groups, federation, and identity domains.
- Experience in implementing cloud security best practices and access governance.
- Good troubleshooting skills for network, access, infrastructure, and performance-related issues.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, Ansible, or scripting would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of backup, DR, high availability, and cloud resilience concepts.
- Robust communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operations Associate
- Oracle Cloud Security Professional

- Experience with Terraform / OCI Resource Manager for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience working in enterprise cloud environments with ITIL processes.
- Exposure to hybrid connectivity using VPN, FastConnect, or third-party network appliances.
