The Role

We are looking for a Senior AR Specialist who is genuinely good at their job and does not need to be managed to do it.

This is a hands-on AR role. You will be working US healthcare accounts across aging buckets, chasing payers, resolving denials, and driving collections. You will be expected to own your AR, think critically about what is causing problems, and work toward fixing those problems yourself before escalating.

If your usual approach is to flag an issue and wait for someone else to solve it, this role is not for you. If you dig in, find the root cause, and come back with a resolution, keep reading.

What You Will Do

- Work AR across 30, 60, 90, and 120 plus day aging buckets for US healthcare clients
- Follow up with payers on denied, pending, underpaid, and zero-pay claims
- Identify denial patterns, understand root causes, and escalate with a recommended fix, not just a flag
- Read and interpret EOBs and ERAs independently without needing guidance every time
- Verify patient eligibility and coordinate with billing and coding teams on corrections
- Maintain accurate daily productivity logs and submit them on time without being reminded
- Meet monthly AR resolution and collection targets consistently
- Adapt to client-specific workflows and payer requirements across specialties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare AR follow-up and denial management




- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solid personal accountability
- Solid understanding of payer rules, denial codes, CARC and RARC codes, and EOB interpretation
- Experience working across multiple specialties is preferred
- Familiarity with at least one major billing platform (Athena, eCW, NextGen, Kareo, or similar)
- Strong written English for payer and internal communication
- Reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and the discipline to log in and deliver every single day
- Mandatory: working computer, stable internet, and a backup connection for emergencies

- People who need daily follow-up to do their job
- Anyone who looks for reasons why AR cannot be collected instead of finding ways to collect it
- Candidates who have held AR titles but have not actually worked claims hands-on
- People who cannot commit to night shift consistently

- Mandatory daily time tracking with active productivity monitoring
- Daily reporting on claims worked, calls made, and AR resolved
- Performance is reviewed regularly and compensation grows with results
- We do not micromanage people who perform. We do follow up closely with people who do not.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience. Discussed during interview.
