About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Cinema Manager to lead the overall operations of our cinema in Ujjain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving business performance, managing teams, and maintaining operational excellence while adhering to company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the cinema.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all shows and operational activities.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all company SOPs and operational guidelines.

Guest Experience

- Deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring prompt and professional guest service.
- Address and resolve guest complaints effectively.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership

- Lead, motivate, and develop the cinema team.
- Prepare staff rosters and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
- Conduct regular team briefings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Ensure employee discipline, grooming, and adherence to company policies.

Sales & Business Performance

- Drive ticketing and Food & Beverage sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor key business indicators and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Execute local marketing initiatives to enhance guest footfall.

Financial Management

- Monitor daily revenue, cash handling, and operational expenses.
- Ensure accurate reporting and financial reconciliation.




- Maintain inventory controls and minimize wastage.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, fire safety, food safety, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain all required operational records and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Facility Management

- Ensure all cinema equipment and facilities are maintained in excellent working condition.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain the overall ambience and infrastructure of the cinema.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in cinema operations, hospitality, retail, hotels, QSR, or multiplex management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Solid leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
- Good understanding of business operations, financial management, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
