Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop woven fabrics for home textile products.
- Develop jacquard and dobby designs with a solid understanding of weave structures.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure smooth product development.
- Prepare design specifications and monitor sample development.
- Conduct market and trend research to develop commercially successful collections.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and production-ready.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from NID or any other reputed institute.
- Candidate should be a dynamic person with interest and knowledge in handloom and Jacquard weaving
- 36 years of experience in textile design, preferably in home textiles.
- Strong knowledge of weaving, fabric construction, yarns, and weave development.
- Good communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate should be hard working and willing to move around weaving uni
