Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on CNC Turning CAM Programmer with experience in Siemens NX CAM, CNC turning, and rubber mold / oil seal cavity making. The candidate should be able to develop CNC programs, set up jobs on the machine, support tool proving, and handle cavity and mold-related machining activities. NX CAM is widely used to create toolpaths, simulate machining, and generate production-ready programs for CNC turning operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and edit CNC turning programs in Siemens NX CAM.
- Prepare toolpaths for turning, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, and boring operations.
- Support rubber mold making and oil seal cavity making through accurate machining and finishing.
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines for development and production jobs.
- Check machine offsets, tool data, fixture setup, and part alignment.
- Prove out programs on the machine and make required corrections.
- Optimize cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and machining efficiency.
- Read engineering drawings, cavity profiles, and dimensional tolerances.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and quality teams for trials and issue resolution.




- Maintain records for setup, program revision, and machining performance.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in CNC turning and turning CAM programming.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens NX CAM.
- Experience in rubber mold making and oil seal cavity machining.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand critical dimensions.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, offsets, and setup procedures.
- Familiarity with CNC machine controller - Fanuc.
- Good understanding of production troubleshooting and shop-floor support.

Preferred Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in CNC turning and CAM programming.
- Exposure to mold shop, tool room, or oil seal manufacturing will be preferred.
