Job Location: Bangalore -Manyta Tech park

Mode of work: 5 days working from office

Role: Senior Data Analyst

Experience : 5+ years

Shifts: 2.00pm to 11.00pm IST provided transport & shift allowances

Primarily Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Skills

- Data Analysis & Statistics Understanding data distributions, probability, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
- SQL Writing queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Excel Using formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization features for analysis.
- Power BI Data Modelling, Measure Creation, Power Query, Report development
- Data Visualization Creating dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) – Understanding data pipelines and cleaning messy data.

Analytical & Business Skills

- Critical Thinking – Interpreting data to provide actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving – Identifying trends and patterns to support business decisions.
- Domain Knowledge – Understanding industry-specific data and KPIs.
- Communication & Storytelling – Explaining data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Intelligence (BI) – Using BI tools to create reports and dashboards for strategic decisions.

Communication & interpersonal skills; Develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and tailor content to the audience as appropriate.



Display sustained energy and determination to meet challenging deliverables within stringent timelines ability to work independently with diverse & global teams and interact confidently with Leadership Interpersonal sensitivity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business, Analytics, Reports, or related discipline
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence or analytics, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Strong experience in ITSM reporting (ServiceNow or similar platforms preferred)
- Expertise in Power BI (end to end development) including data modeling, DAX, and visualization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query)
- Proficiency in creating professional PowerPoint presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management and requirement gathering skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as a team player

Certifications

Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following preferred

- PL 300 Preferred
