Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in utility maintenance and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and be capable of working independently in a manufacturing or infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, inspect, and maintain utility equipment to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of:

- Air Compressors
- HVAC Systems
- Chillers
- Process Cooling Towers
- Process Water Systems
- Exhaust & Ventilation Systems

- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor utility parameters and maintain daily maintenance logs.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.




- Replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, seals, valves, belts, pumps, and motors.
- Coordinate with electrical and production teams during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are in proper condition.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of utility equipment whenever required.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of utility equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Air Compressors, HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Process Water Systems, and Exhaust Systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&ID; diagrams.
- Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, bearings, and rotating equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown handling.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and permit-to-work systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
