Job description for Assistant ShiftManager

The Assistant Security Shift Managerin a casino plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of thepremises, staff, and patrons during assigned shifts. They assist the SecurityShift Manager in overseeing security operations, managing the security team,and responding to incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Security Shift Managerin supervising and coordinating security operations during assigned shifts.

Monitor surveillance systems,conduct patrols, and ensure compliance with security procedures.

Respond swiftly andappropriately to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.

Support the training anddevelopment of security personnel, providing guidance and mentorship.

Assist in the implementationand enforcement of security protocols and policies.

Collaborate with otherdepartments and external agencies to address security concerns and maintain asecure setting.

Prepare incident reports andmaintain accurate documentation of security-related activities.





Contribute to the developmentand execution of emergency response plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional trainingor certification in Security may be preferred.

Min Experience of 8 year

Previous experience in a security role within a casino or similarenvironment.

Familiarity with security protocols, procedures, and bestpractices.

Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and emergencyresponse technologies.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to handle physically demandingtasks.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends,and holidays.

Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industrystandards.
