Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products

Prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

Conduct feasibility studies, calculations, and simulations

Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to design specifications

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions

Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements

Support maintenance teams in resolving technical problems

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams

Participate in cost reduction and process optimization initiatives

Required Skills & Competencies

Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles

Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, ANSYS, etc.)





Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, fabrication, casting, etc.)

Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Good understanding of materials and thermodynamics

Project management and time management skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Work Environment

Office-based design work with periodic shop-floor exposure
