Experience: CA/ CMA Fresher or Semi Qualified with 1 or 2 years experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Description:

The Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Business Services Record to Report Team (GBS-R2R). Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure robust, timely and accurate information is produced in line with IFRS

- Participate in the month-end process;

- Ability to read and interpret financial statements - Balance Sheet, P&L; and identify the risk and opportunities

- To provide Financial awareness and informed decision making across all Business segments within GFBS

- To Prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker

- Help the management with various Process Excellence and Automation projects by providing insight related to the process

- Interact with group entity VAT leads and maintain the monthly/bi-monthly/Quarterly VAT working tracker

- Preparation of VAT/GST workings for various group entities before the due dates

- Analyse the taxable and nontaxable turnover and finalize the output liability. Impact of amendment/changes in the relevant VAT laws.





- Proactively highlight the challenges if any to resolve the same and ensure the deliverables are provided as per agreed deadlines.

- Client facing experience would be preferred Should be willing to work in UK Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time

Qualifications / Education

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Management Accountant (CMA) Fresher
- Semi Qualified CA / CMA with 1-year minimum experience in a relevant field;
- MBA with 1-2 years minimum experience in a relevant field
